SS16/17 East Coast/West Coast
Our linen scarves feature a series of scenes captured on our road trip into Californian desert to Salton Sea Lake. Located near Palm Springs in Coachella Valley, the lake is 71m below sea level and has such extremely high levels of salt that over the years it has slowly eaten away the towns and infrastructure along the lakes edge. Deserted and eerie in 46 degree summer heat, the water moves sluggishly and there are no signs of animal life. The town of Salton Sea City does have plots of land available for $5K USD though... tempting! Generously oversized, yet luxuriously subtle. A timeless, trans-seasonal addition to your wardrobe. Wearable art inspired by the USA.
