"Everybody treasures quality jewellery; you build a unique attachment to it because it is a reflection of your true personality. My passion is to create jewellery that accentuates the beauty that you already possess".

Luke Rose

Luke's unique talent for jewellery design became evident in his late teenage years when he started creating unusual pieces in plastics. These proved to be extremely popular amongst his peers and were regularly featured in the press. He was then accepted to study diamond mounting at Sir John Cass, a department of the London Guildhall University, world renowned for its jewellery and silversmithing.

He quickly excelled and graduated in 1996 with a distinction, winning the prestigious David Morris award for diamond mounting, together with first prize in the Goldsmiths awards, becoming the only student to have ever achieved this impressive double. It was clear that Luke would go on to make a name for himself as one of London's top jewellery designers.

After leaving university, Luke joined the team at prestigious jewellers Jess James in London's Soho. Before long he was promoted to head of workshop and jewellery design, meeting with the clients, designing bespoke engagement and wedding rings as well as producing beautiful diamond pieces for the store.

In 2006, Luke Rose Jewellery was born in London. Luke was soon in high demand for his exquisite, handcrafted, bespoke jewellery.

In 2010 Luke won the distinguished 'Design and Innovation Award' with his stunning, Hollywood inspired 'ICON' necklace. The awards and recognition kept coming. He became one of the only designers to win the award for the second time in 2013 with his 'SLIDE' ring. This incredible, 'Mondrian' diamond ring inspired his current 'SLIDE' collection.

Luke had become prolific and in the same year he won a Goldsmiths award - the 'Oscars' of the jewellery world.
